OUR IMPACT IN THANET & BEYOND.

Power of Women has made a significant impact by championing gender equality through creative and educational initiatives. Engaging with over 400 students in local schools and colleges, facilitating artistic platforms for young people, and conducting inclusive community workshops, POW has been instrumental in fostering discussions and awareness around gender equality. Through mentorship programs, public exhibitions, and partnerships with various local organisations, POW not only celebrates creative expression but also actively contributes to building a more equitable and inclusive community. Supporting POW means being part of this transformative journey towards a society where creativity and equality thrive together.

  • Last year pow engaged with over 400 pupils and students from 6 schools & colleges across Thanet.

  • Inspiring Windows Project: Culminating in an exhibition of 70 children’s drawings at Turner Contemporary.

  • Youth Arts Trail: Platform for 10-26 year-olds, exhibiting over 30 young artists.

  • Young Producers Programme: Mentored 45 students from Broadstairs College, offering arts industry experience.

  • Conducted 27 Arts-Focused Sessions: in the local community.

  • Community Support: Engaged and supported 20 community groups.
