FUNDRAISE FOR POW
In 2021, a total of £4.1 billion worth of grants was awarded to charities in the UK, but the women and girls sector received just 1.8% of these.
To be frank, funding from trusts and foundations is incredibly competitive at the moment. We are doing more to generate our own funds so that we can continue the work we know is loved and needed in our community.
We are committed to paying all artists, venues, production suppliers and staff equitably and with 20,000 expected to participate in the our 9th annual International Women’s Day Festival (March 2024) we want to ensure that we raise funds that ensure the longevity of the charity and best serve the women and girls of Thanet.
We would love you to become a POW Champion and run your own fundraising event for us to help us achieve our goal of achieving gender equality in Thanet.
