POW! Youth photography competition honouring Margate’s Lana Vanzetta

The POW! Youth team are excited to announce a photography competition honouring the memory of one of POW!’s founders, Margate’s Lana Vanzetta.

Photographers who are under 25 and live in Thanet are invited to submit photos they have taken that fit with the theme ‘Power in Protest’.

The photographs submitted will be curated into an exhibition on Margate High Street, where the public will be able to view the photographs safely in the windows.

There is a £100 prize for the winning photographer who will be chosen by local photography artists Sarah Wyld, Ronnie Arrowsmith and Inky Durant. The announcement of the winner will take place on International Women's Day, Monday 8th March 2021.
